Chris Harvey was born in 1968. He started learning the ropes of small town business as a kid from his family at their tractor implement, Harvey Brothers, which was iconic to Clarksville and the NETX area for several decades. He was a 1986 graduate of Clarksville High School, attended Southern Arkansas University thereafter, and earned his insurance license in 2014. Chris spent more than 20 years ranching and selling real-estate until he moved on to focus on building an insurance agency. In his time in insurance Chris saw an opportunity in rural areas for independent agencies to be competitive. Thus, upon parting as an agent with State Farm, Harvey Insurance Group was born in June of 2017.
Today Chris’s focus is still in delivering exceptional service and being a superior insurance provider. However, he is also part owner of Red River Urgent Care, and sells some real-estate throughout the year.
Chris’s family has been doing business in Clarksville, Texas for over 80 years. As a result, he knows exactly what it takes to create and deliver the qualities of an exceptional small-town business. His goals consist of providing incomparable service and building an iconic business for the community - one that will last for generations.

Dylan Cloward was born in 1995. He began learning about the insurance industry when he was hired for the Sales and Service Representative positions in June of 2018 here at Harvey Insurance Group, and since obtaining his Property and Casualty License in May of 2018. He has an extensive history in customer service due to his past career in the restaurant industry. With that experience, he knows how people want to be served and treated, and knows what it means to go above and beyond to make and keep customers happy with a no-pressure atmosphere in a competitive industry.
Community Involvement
We holistically feel that we have many great relationships throughout our community, though we still enjoy the opportunity to build on and make greater ties in our community as well as those surrounding us.
You can find us at participating in various events throughout the year, such as the Annual Langford Lake BBQ Smoke-Off (1st Place Brisket, Ribs, & Beans 2018), Red River County Stew Cook-Off (which supports the country fair), various festivals, banquets, golf tournaments, etc.
